December 14 (SeeNews) - Croatia's consumer price inflation slowed to 1.3% year-on-year in November from 1.6% in the previous month, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia'sconsumerprice index (CPI) decreased by 0.3% in November, after increasing by 0.6% in October, the Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly inflation report.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the biggest weight of 27.90% in the consumer basket, rose 0.5% year-on-year last month, after rising by the same rate in October.
The prices of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels, with a 16.22% weight, added 2.5% year-on-year in November after rising 2.0% in October. The prices of transport services, which have a 12.58% weight, recorded a gain of 3.4% year-on-year in November, compared with an increase of 6.5% in the previous month.
Croatia swung to average annual inflation of 1.1% in 2017, from deflation of 1.1% in 2016.
