December 15 (SeeNews) - Croatia's annual inflation stood at 1.4% in November, at the same rate as in the two previous months, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Month-on-month, Croatia's consumer price index (CPI) remained flat in November, after rising 0.4% in October, the Bureau of Statistics said.
Food and non-alcoholic beverage prices, which have the biggest weight of 27.64% in the consumer basket, climbed 2.8% on the year last month, after rising 3.2% in October.
The housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels prices, with a 16.58% weight, declined 0.7% in November after falling by 0.9% in October, while the transport segment, which has a 12.48% weight, recorded an annual inflation of 2.8% in November, up from a 1.9% growth in the previous month.
In 2016, Croatia's consumer prices fell by an annual average of 1.1% after a 0.5% contraction in 2015.
