April 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian investment company Agram Invest has acquired a 9.8% stake in agricultural conglomerate Vupik [ZSE:VPIK-R-A], a member of highly indebted concern Agrokor, Vupik said in a statement on Wednesday.
Agram Invest has acquired 475,000 ordinary shares in Vupik, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Vupik's shares have dropped sharply since Agrokor entered serious financial troubles earlier this year.
At 15:49 CET, they traded at 24.5 kuna ($3.5/3.3 euro), down 25.83% from Tuesday's close.
According to bourse data, Agrokor holds a 7.26% stake in Vupik.
Earlier today, bourse data showed that Agram Invest has acquired a 13.84% stake in food company Belje, another unit of ailing Agrokor.
