February 27 (SeeNews) - Croatian diversified conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-R-A] booked a net profit of 506 million kuna ($74.2 million/67.8 million euro) in 2019, up 13% year-on-year, it said on Thursday.
The group's total revenue increased 5% on the year to 6.1 billion kuna in 2019, with sales revenue up 7% to 5.4 billion kuna, Adris said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Adris' tourism business saw an improvement in 2019 as its hotel operator Maistra opened Grand Park Hotel Rovinj and the acqusition of hotel facilities, including the Marjan Hotel in Split, was formally completed, Adris said.
Adris Grupa's fish farming and processing unit Cromaris sales volume totalled 9,557 tonnes in 2019, up 8% on the year.
The group's insurance arm, Croatia Osiguranje has developed a new strategy for the next five years, focused on digitalisation. It will continue working on the further development of the insurance market in Croatia while remaining the leader of the country's insurance market.
Adris' preferred shares traded 0.83% higher at 485 kuna, while its ordinary shares traded down 0.95% at 520 kuna by 1312 CET on Thursday on ZSE.
