June 12 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Adriatic Yacht Charter has opened a new 15 million euro ($2.3 million/2.0 million euro) marina in Medulin, on the Istrian peninsula, the local municipality said on Wednesday.
Marina Puntica has 85 yacht berths, the Medulin municipal council said in a statement, adding it has supported the project by investing 1.5 million kuna in renovating access roads and developing green areas, among others.
The construction of the marina started in September 2017 after Adriatic Yacht Charter was awarded a concession contract to build and operate the marina in 2015, according to the statement.
Adriatic Yacht Charter, established as a family business in 1999, now is one of the leading charter companies in Croatia with a fleet of more than 70 yachts, catamarans and motor boats across the Croatian Adriatic coast.
