April 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian plastic products manufacturer AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL-R-A] said on Tuesday its consolidated net profit edged up 1.1% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2020, reaching 28.2 million kuna ($4.0 million/3.7 million euro).
The company's operating income rose 4.1% year-on-year to 362.6 million kuna in the first quarter, while EBITDA increased 36.3% to 62.7 million kuna, AD Plastik said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Of the total operating income, 286.2 million kuna was generated on the market of the EU and Serbia, up 3.2%. On the Russian market, AD Plastik made 76.4 million kuna in operating income, up 7.4%.
The company's consolidated net profit rose 10.43% to 98.6 million kuna last year.
AD Plastik's shares traded at 142 kuna on the ZSE by 1552 CET on Tuesday, up 1.79%.
