January 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell by 4.4% on the year in 2022, to 42,939, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Wednesday, quoting provisional figures.
In December alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia rose by 10.1% on the year, to 2,693, ACEA said in a statement.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 4.6% year-on-year to 9.26 million last year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 4.2% lower on the year at 1.1 million in 2022.
New passenger car registrations in Croatia increased by 25% to 44,915 in 2021, following a 43% drop in 2020.
