January 26 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Croatia increased by an annual 20% to 9,361 last year, following a drop of 27.3% in 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes rose by 17.1% on the year to 7,958 in 2021, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes jumped 43.5% to 1,284 last year.
In December alone, registrations of new commercial vehicles in Croatia went up 28.1% to 633 vehicles.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 9.6% year-on-year to 1.88 million last year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 25.9% higher at 254,036 last year.
