February 28 (SeeNews) - Croatia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth accelerated to a real 2.9% last year from 2.6% in 2018, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
In the fourth quarter of 2019 alone, however, Croatia's annual GDP growth slowed to a real 2.5% from 2.9% in the third quarter, the statistical office said in a first estimate report for the economic performance in full 2019 and in the final three months of last year.
This compared with annual GDP growth of 2.2% in the fourth quarter of 2018 reported earlier by the statistical office.
Seasonally-adjusted GDP went up 0.3% in October-December 2019 compared to the previous quarter, slower than the quarter-on-quarter growth of 0.8% in July-September.
