October 1 (SeeNews) - Croatian tourism firm Slobodna Katarina has merged into its peer and affiliate Maistra [ZSE:MAIS], Maistra said.
Maistra was notified on September 30 of a decision by the commercial court in the town of Pazin, based on which its merger with Slobodna Katarina was entered in the court registry, Maistra said in a statement with the Zagreb bourse.

Following the merger, Maistra has become the legal successor of Slobodna Katarina.
Maistra's shares traded up 1.33% at 304 kuna ($45/41 euro) by 1200 CET on Tuesday, after closing down 0.66% at 300 kuna on Monday.
Croatian tourism company Adria Resorts controls an 89% stake in Rovinj-based Maistra, while the remainder belongs to smaller shareholders, bourse data showed.
