July 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian tobacco-to-tourism conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-R-A] said on Thursday its consolidated net profit surged to 155.3 million kuna ($27.3 million/20.3 million euro) through June from 38.5 million kuna a year earlier.
The blue-chip company issued the following details in an unaudited consolidated statement to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (in millions of kuna):

The group is active in tourism, real estate, fish farming, tobacco production and through the recent acquisition of Croatia Osiguranje [ZSE:CROS-R-A] it is also present on the regional insurance market.
Sales of its tobacco division, TDR, fell 12% on the year in the review period, while its tourism division recorded a 9.0% rise in overnights.
The group's fish farming and processing unit, Cromaris, posted a 60% annual rise in sales in the first half of 2014. Exports jumped 88% over the review period with the biggest growth recorded in Italy, where it opened a subsidiary last year.
