January 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian textile company Varteks [ZSE:VART] said on Wednesday it plans to hike its capital by issuing up to 3,500,000 new shares with a nominal value of 10 kuna apiece ($1.6/1.3 euro).
The share subscription will be carried out in up to two rounds, the first of which will begin on January 4 and last until January 15, Varteks said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
The second round will take place between January 18 and 29.
The share issue will be considered successful if at least 1,500,000 shares are subscribed to.
Varteks noted that the minimum price per new share has been set at 12.91 kuna.
Varteks has over 1,200 employees and exports to over 20 countries. In 2018 it is marking its 100th year of existence.
