May 29 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher for a fifth consecutive session on Friday, with hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Valamar's shares rose 3.37% to close at 27.60 kuna, generating the largest single portion of the daily turnover - of 3.55 million kuna.
At the other end, consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] paced the blue-chip losers by shedding 1.59% to close at 1,240 kuna.
Five of the ten blue chips on the ZSE closed higher on Friday, four fell and one ended flat.
The ZSE's total trading turnover dropped to 13.6 million kuna ($2.0 million/1.8 million euro) on Friday from 4.7 million kuna on Thursday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.52% to 1,635.37 on Friday, after gaining 0.38% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.87% to 1,015.86, after edging up 0.05% on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS closed 0.08% lower at 110.4300.
