November 30 (SeeNews) - Zagreb stock exchange indices closed higher on Wednesday amidst increased turnover, bourse data showed.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed 0.27% up at 1,997.81 points, after gaining 0.29% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0.25% to 1,157.97 points after rising 0.36% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.14% to 109.0616 points.
Shipping company Uljanik Plovidba [ZSE:ULPL-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, advancing 3.65% to a close of 169.99 kuna.
Power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, falling 5.19% to 13.71 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] generated the biggest turnover in the session, 1.8 million kuna. The stock closed 1.1% higher at 165.30 kuna as 45,190 shares changed hands.
Total ZSE turnover grew to 15.9 million kuna ($2.2 million/2.1 million euro) on Wednesday from 4.5 million kuna in the previous trading session.
