February 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian stock market indices rose on Monday as daily turnover increased, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) added 1.26% to 1,923.54 points after losing 0.63% on Friday.
The blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, added 1.67% to 1,081.69 points.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, ended 1.07% higher in euro terms at 1,019.11.
Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR-R-A] recorded the largest turnover of some 3.6 million kuna ($643,200/474,200 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock closed 0.14% lower to 689 kuna.
Valamar Adria Holding [ZSE:KORF-R-A] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 3.88% to 134 kuna.
Retailer Konzum [ZSE:BLJE-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, falling 2.03% to 144.5 kuna.
The bourse's total stock turnover in floor trading rose to 24.5 million kuna from 17.9 million kuna on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index lost 0.25% to 104.1202 points.
The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and includes accrued interest or interest payments, closed 0.23% lower at 123.1477 points.
