February 1 (SeeNews) - Croatian stock market indices rose on Friday as daily turnover increased, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) added 0.63% to 1,899.66 points after losing 0.34% on Thursday.
The blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, rose 0.45% to 1,063.88 points.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, ended 0.59% lower in euro terms at 1,008.32.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] recorded the largest turnover of some 2.8 million kuna ($505,100/368,800 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock closed 1.41% lower to 213 kuna.
Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR-R-A] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 2.98% to 689.99 kuna.
Food producer Belje [ZSE:BLJE-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, falling 4.05% to 77.72 kuna.
The bourse's total stock turnover in floor trading rose to 17.9 million kuna from 12.3 million kuna on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index lost 0.26% to 104.3769 points.
The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and includes accrued interest or interest payments, closed 0.24% lower at 123.4271 points.
