October 19 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower in falling turnover on Monday, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index lost 0.40% to 2,282.79 points after falling 0.41% on Friday.
The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 0.36% lower at 1,191.51 on Monday.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 0.21% in euro terms to 1,392.36 points.
Shares of HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, rose 0.14% to 272.04 kuna ($56/37 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 3.6 million kuna.
ZSE's total turnover in floor trading fell to 18.2 million kuna from 23.9 million kuna on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.03% up at 90.22 points.
