February 5 (SeeNews) - Croatian stock market indices fell on Tuesday, as daily turnover decreased, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) lost 0.11% to 1,921.37 points after rising 1.26% on Monday.
The blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, lost 0.41% to 1,077.22 points.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, ended 0.41% higher in euro terms at 1,023.33.
Preferred shares of Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-R-A] recorded the largest turnover of some 17.5 million kuna ($3.1 million/2.3 million euro) among the CROBEX components. The preferred stock closed at 285 kuna. Adris Grupa's ordinary shares closed 1.61% lower at 305.01 kuna.
Confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS-R-A] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 8.01% to 400 kuna.
Food, beverage and drug producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, falling 3.57% to 266.16 kuna.
The bourse's total stock turnover in floor trading fell to 21.2 million kuna from 24.5 million kuna on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.05% to 104.1683 points.
The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and includes accrued interest or interest payments, closed 0.06% higher at 123.2202 points.
