May 23 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Monday for a second day in a row as gains in Podravka, AD Plastik and Ericsson Nikola Tesla offset losses in Valamar Riviera, bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, gained 0.41% to finish at 2,090.25 points.
The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.39% to end at 1,245.61 points.
The most traded company was hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] with a turnover of 1.3 million kuna ($184,000/173,000 euro). Its shares dipped 0.29% to finish at 34 kuna.
Software company SPAN [ZSE:SPAN] ranked second by turnover with 728,400 kuna, as its share price added 0.42% to 240 kuna.
Shares of blue-chip food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] advanced 1.67% to 610 kuna in a turnover of 579,000 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] and ICT equipment provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] went up 1.50% and 1.08%, respectively.
Excluding SPAN, which is member only of the CROBEX, the other mentioned companies are constituents of both indices.
The bourse's total turnover rose to 7.3 million kuna from 4.3 million kuna on Friday.
