June 15 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined for a fourth day in a row on Wednesday in dull pre-holiday trading, bourse data showed.
The bourse's total trading turnover plunged to 4.4 million kuna ($609,000/585,000 euro) on Wednesday from some 7 million kuna on Tuesday. On Thursday the bourse is closed for Corpus Christi, a public and market holiday.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, dipped 0.33% to finish at 2,037.66 points on Wednesday. The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged 0.11% lower to end at 1,206.65 points.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the most traded company with a turnover of 553,000 kuna. Its share price ended unchanged at 480 kuna.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] and Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] came next in terms of turnover. They generated a turnover of 525,700 kuna and 448,400 kuna, respectively. Both companies ended flat, at 582 and 175 kuna, respectively.
In lower turnovers, shares of ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] declined 0.53% to finish at 1,870 kuna and preferred shares of diversified holding Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] lost 0.49% to 405 kuna.
