January 11 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices closed mixed on Friday, with the benchmark CROBEX index, extending its losses from Thursday, Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) data showed.
The 25-share CROBEX index dropped by 0.32% to 1,734.51 points on Friday, as five of its components fell. The index lost 0.07% on Thursday.
Hotel operator Maistra [ZSE:MAIS] was the most traded blue-chip company on Friday, generating a turnover of 680,400 kuna. Its shares closed flat at 300 kuna.
Shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip gainers, adding 10.28% to 5.90 kuna in just one transaction.
Hotel operator Jadran [ZSE:JDRN] led the blue-chip losers, closing 6.90% lower at 16.20 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 3.152 million kuna ($478,756/417,214 euro) on Friday from 5.1 million kuna on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged up 0.07% to 1,006.88 points after losing 0.41% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index ceded 0.17% to 110.7399.
