September 3 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange JSC (ZSE) advanced in sharply lower turnover on Thursday, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 1.65% to 2,028.87 points after falling 0.96% on Wednesday. The 20-share CROEMI index, calculated by Raiffeisenbank Austria, closed 1.53% higher at 1,815.84 points.
The narrowest index, CROX, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, added 1.34% in euro terms to 1,213.39 points.
The shares of blue-chip telecommunications company T-Hrvatski Telekom, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, fell 0.14% to 227.48 kuna ($44.2/31.0 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 7.17 million kuna.
Total turnover in floor trading slumped to 21.02 million kuna from 69.8 million kuna on Wednesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index rose by 0.01% to 86.40 points.
