December 5 (SeeNews) - Croatian blue-chip clothing and toys retailer Magma on Wednesday said it has acquired Serbian rival Kozmolina for an undisclosed sum.
“Yesterday [Tuesday], the talks were finalised and a deal was signed for the takeover of […] Kozmolina,” Magma said in a statement to the Zagreb Stock exchange.

Magma acquired 100% of Kozmolina, Kozmolina's PR officer Irena Visnic confirmed for SeeNews. Magma will retain Kozmolina's name, all its current operations and staff, Visnic added.
She would not disclose the price of the deal.
Magma officials were not available to provide more details.
Magma group (www.magma.hr) runs toy, fashion and sports equipment stores. It also distributes fast moving consumer goods and sells clothing under its own fashion trademarks and other trademarks. The company operates in Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Hungary and Hong Kong.
Kozmolina, part of MPC Holding (www.mpcholding.com), sells in Serbia toy brands Mattel, Lego, Ravensburger, Nikko, Crayola, Wader, Zapf.
