July 13 (SeeNews) - Croatia's parliament approved on Friday the appointment of Boris Vujcic as central bank governor for a another six-year term.
A total of 78 of 151 deputies voted in favour of the re-appointment of Vujcic, while 38 were against, according to a notice posted on the parliament's website.
The parliament also endorsed the appointment of Sandra Svaljek as deputy governor of the central bank, replacing Relja Martic, while Slavko Tesija, Roman Subic and Martina Drvar were named vice-governors.
Vujcic assumed office as governor of the Croatian central bank on July 8, 2012. He was a deputy governor of the central bank in the period between 2000 and 2012.
