May 31 (SeeNews) - The overall consolidated net profit of Croatian companies, excluding financial institutions, rose to 46.9 billion kuna ($6.6 billion/6.2 billion euro) last year, up from 45.2 billion kuna in 2021, local provider of financial services Fina said on Wednesday.
A total of 150,846 companies reported an overall revenue of 1,098 billion kuna for 2022, up 27% on the year, and total costs of 1,039 billion kuna, up 28.5%, Fina said in a press release.
A total of 68% of local companies made profit last year, while 32% were loss-making, it added.
Among them, oil and gas company INA [ZSE:INA-R-A] reported the highest net profit, of 1.8 billion kuna, and highest revenue, of 35.1 billion kuna, for 2022.
