February 19 (SeeNews) - Croatian lender Privredna Banka Zagreb (PBZ) [ZSE:PBZ-R-A], a unit of Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo, said its consolidated net profit rose to 1.738 billion kuna ($252 million/233 million euro) last year from 1.719 billion kuna in 2018.
PBZ's consolidated net interest income remained unchanged at 2.778 billion kuna in 2019, while the net income from fees and commissions increased to 1.543 billion kuna from 1.518 billion kuna in 2018, the bank said on Tuesday in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
The lender's total assets rose to 118 billion kuna at the end of last year, from 112 billion kuna a year earlier. Its total liabilities went up to 101 billion kuna from 95 billion kuna, while its total capital rose to 17.4 billion kuna from 17.1 billion kuna.
PBZ shares closed 0.5% down at 990 kuna on the ZSE on Tuesday. They did not trade at opening on Wednesday.
