March 1 (SeeNews) - Croatian state-controlled lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] said its consolidated net profit rose 25% on the year to 183.4 million kuna ($29.2 million/24.2 million euro) in 2020.
The bank's 2020 net interest income decreased by an annual 5.4% to 588.8 million kuna, while net fee and commission income shrank 15% to 459.8 million kuna, Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) said in a filing submitted to the Zagreb Stock Exchange last week.
Loans to customers rose 7.9% on the year to 16.4 billion kuna at the end of December, while deposits increased 7.8% to 22.6 billion kuna.
HPB's total assets came in at 25.5 billion kuna at the end of 2020, from 23.8 billion kuna a year earlier.
Its shares closed 2% higher at 470 kuna on the Zagreb bourse on Friday. They did not trade by 1515 CET on Monday.
