January 18 (SeeNews) - The financial assets of Croatian households totalled 576 billion kuna ($87 billion/77 billion euro) at the end of the third quarter of 2021, up 2.2% compared to the previous quarter, the country's central bank said on Tuesday.
The financial liabilities of households amounted to 156 billion kuna at the end of September, up 1.2% compared to the end of June, the central bank said in a quarterly report.
The financial net worth of households increased to 420 billion kuna in the third quarter, up by 2.6% from the end of the previous quarter, continuing its steady growth, the central bank said.
There were 1.4 million households in Croatia last year, down from 1.5 million reported in the 2011 census, the statistical office said on Friday. Croatia's population decreased to 3.89 million last year from 4.2 million in 2011.
