December 6 (SeeNews) - Croatia's hotel operator Medora hoteli i ljetovalista said on Wednesday its EBIT jumped 155% on the year to 21.9 million kuna ($3.4 million/2.9 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, while overnight stays increased by 38%.
Medora's operating income added 52% on the year to 68.1 million kuna, while the company's EBITDA rose 108% to 27.4 million kuna in the period under review, the company said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
The achieved business results reflect the company's precise market positioning and continuous investments in the quality of its products and services, the company'CEO, Zrinko Kamber, said.
Last month, Medora's Auri Hotel was awarded the TUI Nordic Blue Star 2017 gold award.
Croatian hotel operator Hoteli Podgora changed its name to Medora hoteli i ljetovalista in 2015, following a pre-bankruptcy settlement. It recently reported it has fulfilled the preconditions for the conclusion of the settlement.
