August 29 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell by some 0.50% each on Monday amidst a lower turnover, bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, lost 0.53% to end at 2,004.75 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, declined 0.51% to finish at 1,203.18 points.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded stock on Monday with a turnover of 867,000 kuna ($115,000/115,000 euro). Its shares shed 1.06% to close at 186 kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], ranked second by turnover with 319,000 kuna. Its shares gained 1.0% to end at 405 kuna, halting a six-day losing streak.
In lower turnovers, blue-chip preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] dropped 1.69%, shares of shipyard Brodogradiliste Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] plunged 3.70%, software company SPAN [ZSE:SPAN] fell 1.17% and shares of engineering company Ingra [ZSE:INGR] appreciated 3.97%. Lenac, SPAN and Ingra are part of the broader index, the CROBEX, but are not included in CROBEX10.
The bourse's total trading turnover plunged to 3.2 million kuna from 5.2 million kuna on Friday.
