August 11 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Thursday, as shares of Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] paced the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla advanced 4.13% to 1,640 kuna on Thursday, ZSE data showed.
At the other end, shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] lead the decliners, with shares going down 3.25% to 446 kuna.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, rose 0.50% to end at 1,997.64 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged up 0.43% to close at 1,189.73 points.
The bourse's total trading turnover increased to 6 million kuna ($825,400/798,400 euro) on Thursday from 4.4 million kuna on Wednesday.
Food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] generated the highest turnover on the bourse among the blue-chips - 743,820 kuna. Its shares closed flat at 590 kuna.
