August 31 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) added 0.13% each on Wednesday, erasing part of their losses from the previous two sessions, as turnover slightly rose, bourse data showed.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 4.1 million kuna ($547,000/545,000 euro) from 2.1 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, ended at 2,000.79 points on Wednesday. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed at 1,198.30 points.
Lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] was the most traded stock on Wednesday with a turnover of some 550,000 kuna. Its shares fell 0.62% to close at 800 kuna. It is part of the CROBEX index, but is not a constituent of the CROBEX10.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] followed by turnover with some 496,000 kuna. Its shares gained 1.79% to end at 398 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] appreciated 0.81% and preferred shares of holding company Adris went up 0.98%.
Shares of food producer Cakovecki Mlinovi [ZSE:CKML] ended at 79 kuna, up 3.27%, on the news that it will pay a 5 kuna dividend per share for last year. Moreover, it will move the company's 10.290 million regular shares from the regular market segment of the Zagreb bourse where they are currently listed to the higher and more transparent official market segment.
