July 20 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday, despite that turnover remained low, on the wave on gains on international markets as world shares reached a three-week high, a bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, advanced 0.67% to end at 1,954.80 points, erasing its losses from Tuesday.
The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.66% to finish at 1,156.56 points.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the most traded company with a turnover of 593,000 kuna ($80,300/78,900 euro). Its shares rose 1.60% to close at 445 kuna.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] ranked second by turnover with 419,000 kuna. Its shares ended unchanged at 564 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] added 0.29%, ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] rose 1.92%, consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] went up 1.60% and hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] appreciated 0.95%.
The bourse's total trading turnover was 3.8 million kuna, flat compared to Tuesday.
