July 27 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday for a second day in a row supported by gains in Valamar Riviera and Adris, a bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, went up 0.37% to end at 1,976.88 points.
The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.27% to finish at 1,174.52 points.
Hotel owner and operator Valamar [ZSE:RIVP] was the most traded share on Wednesday with a turnover of 1.7 million kuna ($229,000/226,000 euro). Its shares added 0.31% to end at 32 kuna.
Preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] appreciated 1.02% to end at 397 kuna in a turnover of 1.0 million kuna on the news that its consolidated net profit tripled year-on-year in the first half of 2022, reaching 157 million kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba fell 1.32% to close at 447 kuna in a turnover of 580,000 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE: ERNT] rose 0.97% and shares of food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] added 0.69%.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 8.9 million kuna from 2.5 million kuna on Tuesday.
