July 21 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended mixed on Thursday in a higher turnover, a bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, dipped 0.12% to end at 1,952.47 points, following a brief rebound on Wednesday.
The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.07% to finish at 1,157.36 points, rising for a second day in a row.
In regular trading, preferred shares of power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (Koncar D&ST) [ZSE KODT2] generated the biggest daily turnover in regular trading, 3.6 million kuna ($ 854,000/838,000 euro), ending 0.96% higher at 2,100 kuna.The company, which is not part of the main indices, announced on Thursday its net profit reached 55.6 million kuna in the first half of this year, up from 38.3 million kuna in the same period of last year.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the second most traded company with a turnover of 856,000 kuna. Its shares rose 2.02% to close at 454 kuna.
Shares of ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] declined 0.63% to end at 1,580 kuna in a turnover of 446,800 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover surged to 22.8 million kuna from 3.8 million kuna on Wednesday, boosted by a 8.4 million kuna block deal with shares of food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] and a 6.3 million kuna deal with shares of software producer SPAN [ZSE:SPAN].
