September 8 (SeeNews) - One of the main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) dipped and the other one stagnated as daily turnover on Thursday was halved compared to the previous trading day, bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, dipped 0.09% to close at 1,981.03 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, ended unchanged at 1,184.89 points.
Blue chip food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] was the most traded company with a turnover of 511,000 kuna ($68,000/68,000 euro). Its shares fell 1.04% to finish at 570 kuna.
Hotel owner and operator Turisthotel [ZSE:TUHO], which is not part of the indices, was the second most traded company with a turnover of 391,000 kuna. Its shares rose 2.27% to end at 4,500 kuna.
Shares of engineering company INGRA [ZSE:INGR] appreciated 3.32% to end at 14 kuna in a turnover of 340,000 kuna. It is part of the broader equity index but is not included in the narrower one.
The bourse's total trading turnover plunged to 3.1 million kuna from 6.2 million kuna on Wednesday.
