December 15 (SeeNews) - Electronic communication operators in Croatia increased their total investment by 16% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2021, the country's telecommunications regulator, HAKOM, said.
In the fixed-line segment, investments in optic cable infrastructure soared 127% compared to the first nine months of last year, HAKOM said in a statement last week.
The overall revenue on the Croatian market of electronic communications rose 5% on the year in the nine months through September 2021, as revenue from broadband Internet assess grew by 13%, the revenue from rents of networks and lines went up 5% and the revenue from paid TV services increased by 4%.
In the fixed-line segment, the number of users of phone services and operators' revenue both fell by 1% on the year in January-September.
