May 11 (SeeNews) - Croatian pharmaceuticals producer Jadran Galenski Laboratorij (JGL) said it plans to distribute a dividend of 14 kuna ($1.95/1.86 euro) per share for 2021, up from a dividend of 11 kuna it paid for 2020.
This year's dividend will be paid from JGL's accumulated retained profit generated in 2009, the company said in a statement with the Zagreb bourse last week.
Its net profit of 126.5 million kuna reported for 2021 will be retained.
Ex-dividend date is June 27, record date is June 28, and payment date is July 13.
JGL's shareholders will vote on the proposed dividend payout on June 13.
Founded in 1991, JGL is one of the largest drug makers in Croatia, specialising in the production of sterile nose, eye and ear drop solutions. JGL operates in some 60 markets around the world.
The company's corporate bonds are traded on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
