July 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian dairy company Dukat said on Monday its consolidated net profit expanded to 81.8 million kuna ($12.3 million/11.1 million euro) in the first half of 2019 from 75.9 million kuna a year earlier.
Operating income rose 6.5% on the year to 1.95 billion kuna in the January-June period, while operating costs increased 6.5% to 1.85 billion kuna, Dukat's consolidated financial report filed with the Zagreb bourse showed.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to 99.3 million kuna, up by 5.8 million kuna on the prior-year period.
First-half sales revenue grew 7% to 1.94 billion kuna. Sales on foreign markets made up 59.9% of the total, standing at 1.5 billion kuna, up 7.5% on the year.
Dukat invested 52.4 million kuna in its operations in the six months through June 2019.
