February 23 (SeeNews) - Croatian dairy company Dukat said on Friday the group's consolidated net profit fell 2.5% on the year to 132.3 million kuna ($21.9 million/17.8 million euro) in 2017.
Sales revenues rose 9.3% to 3.7 billion kuna in 2017, while earnings before interest and trade (EBIT) amounted to 168.8 million kuna, up 5.6% over 2016 on the back of improved results in affiliated companies in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Kosovo, Dukat said in a consolidated annual financial report filed with the Zagreb bourse.
Sales revenue on external markets made up 58.6% of the company's total sales revenue or 2.1 billion kuna in 2017, up 9.8% on the year.
Dukat Group is made up of parent company Dukat and 14 affiliates in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo and Bulgaria.
