October 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian businessman Stipo Matic, owner of local IT companies M San Grupa and King ICT, has agreed to take over local software developer Omega Software for an undisclosed sum, M SAN said on Wednesday.
"We see as the highest value in the takeover Omega Software's more than 130 experienced experts and young talents with significant business references, which will enrich further our group, M SAN said in a statement e-mailed to SeeNews.

Omega Software will continue to operate as an independent company on the market and will fulfil all of its obligations to clients, partners and the business community, M San added.
In a separate statement issued on Wednesday, Omega Software said its co-owners have decided to merge it with M SAN, the biggest regional IT company with annual revenue of more than 500 million euro ($581 million) and more than 2,000 employees.
Omega has significantly invested in production units, LED lightning, energy efficiency and own software platform for digitalisation of business operations.
