June 13 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports increased to 580,000 in April, up 654% compared to April last year when the coronavirus pandemic brought air travel to a standstill, official statistics showed on Tuesday.
The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 127% on the year reaching 7,932 in April, while cargo volumes increased by 14.5% on the year to 728 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Zagreb airport served the largest number of passengers in April – 254,000, up by an annual 376% - followed by the airport in Split with 132,000 passengers and Dubrovnik airport with 117,000 passengers.
