September 11 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports increased to 1.993 million in July, up from 1.768 million in the same month last year, official statistics showed on Monday.
The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 6.4% on the year, reaching 19,430 in July, while cargo volumes fell by 11% to 805 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Split airport served the largest number of passengers in July – 743,000, up by an annual 16.2% - followed by the airport in Dubrovnik with 445,000 passengers, and the airport in Zagreb with 366,000 passengers.
Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports rose to 9.8 million last year from 4.7 million in 2021, according to official statistics figures published earlier.
