June 13 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports rose to 756,000 in April, up 26% on the year, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of landings and take-offs increased by 13% to 9,087 in April, while cargo volumes grew 8.6% to 1,086 tonnes, the statistical office said in a statement on Wednesday.
Zagreb airport recorded the largest passenger traffic in Croatia, of 279,230 travellers, followed by Dubrovnik airport with 208,586 and Split airport with 153,474.
Residents of Germany led the list of international passengers at Croatian airports in April as they totalled 198,490, followed by the United Kingdom (74,271), France (64,111), the Netherlands (35,181) and Austria (30,447).
