April 11 (SeeNews) - Retail and wholesale companies within Croatia's ailing Agrokor concern saw a negative EBITDA of 44.9 million kuna ($7.5 million/6 million euro) in the first two months of 2018, the concern said.
The other two business segments of the concern, food and agriculture, recorded positive results.
The food business recorded EBITDA of 48.5 million kuna, while EBITDA of the agriculture segment reached 17.1 million kuna, Agrokor said in a statement on Tuesday.
The retail and wholesale segment, which encompasses retailer Konzum and its Bosnian unit Konzum BiH, newsstand operator Tisak and wholesaler Velpro, recorded a revenue of 1.777 billion kuna in the first two months of 2018. The food segment followed with revenue of 853 million kuna, while the agribusiness saw a slim revenue of 270 million kuna.
