December 8 (SeeNews) - Croatia and the United States signed an agreement to avoid double taxation in a bid to ease trade and investments, the Croatian finance ministry said on Thursday.
The agreement is yet another positive step in bilateral relations, following a decision to enable Croatian citizens to travel visa-free to the United States, the ministry said in a press release.
The agreement was signed late on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
At the end of last year, the United States has included Croatia in its visa waiver program (VWP) allowing Croatian citizens and nationals to apply to travel to the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa.
