May 13 (SeeNews) - Croatia's finance ministry said on Thursday it will offer 10 million euro ($12 million) worth of one-year Treasury bills and 300 million kuna ($48 million/40 million euro) worth of one-year T-bills at two separate auctions on May 18.
Both issues will mature on May 19, 2022, the finance ministry said in a statement.
The finance ministry last held an auction of one-year kuna-denominated T-bills on April 20 when it sold 2.34 billion kuna worth of government securities, above its 2.2 billion kuna target. The yield on the issue stood at 0.02%, unchanged compared to the yield achieved at the previous auction of one-year kuna-denominated T-bills held on March 2.
The last issue of euro-denominated one-year T-bills was placed on October 20, 2020, when the finance ministry sold 147 million euro worth of government securities, way above its 50 million euro target. The euro-denominated issue yielded minus 0.05%, compared to zero percent at the previous auction of one-year euro-denominated government paper held on May 19, 2020.
