October 23 (SeeNews) - Croatia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth accelerated to a real 3.0% in 2016, from 2.3% in 2015, the State Statistics Office said on Monday, revising earlier data.
In March, Croatia's stats office said preliminary data had shown that Croatia's GDP growth picked up to 2.9% in 2016, from 1.6% a year earlier.
According to revised data, Croatia's GDP contacted by 0.1% in 2014, compared to an earlier reported 0.4% decline, the stats office said in a statement.
The statistics office said that it will publish on November 8 detailed data on the country's GDP in the 2010-2016 period.
Last week, Croatia's central bank said it projects that the country's economy will expand by 3.3% in 2017.
