June 29 (SeeNews) - Croatia's state asset management office, DUUDI, said on Wednesday it has received only two bids in a tender for the sale of 25 state-owned properties for which it sought a total of over 45 million kuna ($6.6 million/6 million euro).
DUUDI received a 20.4 million kuna bid for a villa in Volosko, near the northern coastal city of Rijeka and a 170,920 kuna bid for a property in the coastal town of Bibinje, it said in a statement.

Local news agency Hina reported that the bidding commission has determined that both bids are valid and will recommend that they are accepted.
Most of the state-owned assets put up for sale in April are defined as arable land, meadows and residential homes.
In March, Croatia's finance minister Maric noted that the country's 2016 budget deficit - which is planned at 7.4 billion kuna - will be partly funded by revenues from the privatisation of state assets.
