January 7 (SeeNews) - Croatian state-owned gas transmission system operator Plinacro has provided two-way flow capacity on a natural gas link with Slovenia, the company said on Monday.
The company has enabled capacity for the export of 30,000 cubic metres of natural gas per hour to Slovenia from Croatia at the Rogatec interconnection point, which adds to the already existing capacity for imports from Slovenia, Plinacro said in a statement.
In this way, Plinacro has fulfilled its obligation to enable two-way interconnection capacity at the Rogatec point in accordance with the rules of the European Commission (EC), the company said.
Following the fulfillment of the obligation, Plinacro and Slovenian gas transmission system operator Plinovodi concluded an interconnection agreement on the establishment of network rules for interoperability and data exchange, the Croatian company said.
Plinacro and Plinovodi enabled the booking of firm capacities on border interconnection point Rogatec via the PRISMA capacity booking platform on January 1, the Slovenian company said in a separate statement last week.
